As we all know the
Youth Olympic Games "Buenos Aires 2018" is coming up in Argentina, any riders who was born from 1 January 2000 to 31 December 2003 or those who are 15-18 years old in 2018 can be eligible to compete for the qualifier for YOG this year (2017) to qualified for the final process.
There are 6 groups of countries that will be competing for 30 places.
Each group will have a maximum of 5 places. Thailand falls into Asia group which include many different countries in Asia region i.e. Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Iran, India, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Kyrgyzstan.
Under this Asia group, Thai riders are required to compete in the
FEI World Jumping Challenge Category A (120-130 cm) in Competition 3 which will be held on 4-6 August 2017 at the Royal Horse Guard Riding Club, Bangkok. And to obtain the Certificate of Capability, the rider must obtain a score of
not more than eight penalties in the 1st round of the qualified event.
